Danny O'Shea (Rick Moranis) has always been under the shadow of his older, football star brother, Kevin O'Shea (Ed O'Neill). However, when Danny's daughter Becky "Icebox" O'Shea (Shawna Waldron) is cut from his brother's peewee football team, The Cowboys, despite being the best player just because she is a girl, Danny decides to stand up to his brother once and for all. Danny and Becky put together their own football team, The Giants, made up of Kevin's other rejects and various misfits plus the new-to-town dream boy quarterback, Junior Floyd (Devon Sawa). Working together, the team overcomes all its obstacles and force a playoff between the Cowboys and the Giants to determine which team will represent the town. After a lifetime of abuse, Danny finally stands up to his brother and the Little Giants to the other kids and town who told them they were nothing special.
