"The Good Earth" tells the story of Wang Lung (Paul Muni), who is a poor farmer in China and has to deal with the instability of the land he owns and the family he is trying to support. He marries a former slave, O-Lan (Luise Rainer) and they try and start a family together. They trie to stay together through all of the good and bad times they encounter. |
